Welcome to my website! I am an organismal biologist interested in how animals adapt to extreme challenges in their environment. My dynamic research program merges physiological ecology, functional genomics, and evolutionary biology. Most importantly, my work is driven by a profound interest in understanding how animals work. I do this by linking genetic variation to the physiological and performance functions that allow animals to interact with their world.
I am currently a National Institutes of Health postdoctoral fellow, sponsored by Zac Cheviron at the University of Montana.
