Welcome! I am an evolutionary biologist interested in how animals adapt to extreme challenges in their environment. My dynamic research program merges physiological ecology with functional and population genomics. I am driven by a profound interest in understanding how animals work.
In September 2020, I will be starting as an Assistant Professor of Evolutionary Biology at the University of Denver! Check out the News tab for more.
I am currently a postdoc in the lab of Nina Therkildsen (https://www.therkildsenlab.com/people.html), studying the population and adaptation genomics of American shad and Atlantic silversides.
Former National Institutes of Health postdoctoral fellow, sponsored by Zac Cheviron at the University of Montana.
